Graforce – The future of hydrogen
Graforce GmbH has been working on the future of energy supply since 2010.
Hydrogen technology from Graforce can avoid emissions that are harmful to the environment and create the “water - hydrogen – water cycle” required for sustainability within the energy industry. It represents an important key component in the successful introduction of storage and fuel cell technology.
With its exceptionally low hydrogen production costs, the completely new technology from Graforce GmbH will enable the successful shift to utterly green and clean energy.
The company is based in Berlin-Adlershof. Adlershof is one of the 15 largest science parks in the world and is one of the most important science, business and media locations in Berlin-Brandenburg. In an area of 4.2km² - not far from the future Berlin-Brandenburg international airport - are ten non-university research institutes, six institutes of the Humboldt University of Berlin and almost 400 technology companies.
The entrepreneur Dr. Jens Hanke
Dr. Jens Hanke founded the company Graforce GmbH in May 2010 and is responsible for the company's management tasks, especially in the field of engineering and product development. Prior to his work at Graforce GmbH, he was the founder and technical manager of eleven years at Robowatch Technologies (today: Robowatch Industries GmbH). Prior to this, Jens Hanke worked for seven years as a research associate and project manager at the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, in the department for Bioinformatics and Genome Research.
In the course of his activities as a scientist and entrepreneur, he successfully developed a broad range of different products which were brought to market worldwide, including:
- Hydrogen generators
- Plasma generators for electron acceleration (Laserkern GmbH)
- Navigation methods for autonomous driving vehicles
- Mobile security robots for object protection (Mosro/Ofro/Asendro/Chrysor)
Jens Hanke received his doctorate in the field of theoretical medicine at the Humboldt University of Berlin and in addition has a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics.
